Ascendant Presenting on Nonprofit BSCs in the LBC
With Ascendant presenting at a conference in the L-B-C
It’s kinda easy for nonprofits to learn about the B-S-C
While we may be showing our age by paraphrasing Snoop Dogg lyrics, we did want to let everyone know that Ascendant and ClearPoint will be at the Association for Strategic Planning (ASP) Annual Conference in Long Beach, CA, May 12-14.
The ASP 2014 conference, “Strategy in an Era of Constraints,” is at the Renaissance Long Beach this year.
The conference is the world's premier forum for the exchange of professional ideas and experiences among strategic planning professionals. Each year our conference brings together thought leaders and practitioners dedicated to advancing strategic thinking, planning and action.
We will be running a breakout session during the morning of Tuesday, May 13, on “Executing Strategy at Nonprofits: From Objectives to Impact.” During this interactive workshop, we will help participants understand the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) strategy management framework and help them begin to build a BSC for their organizations.
While we definitely won’t have any “gin” to share with participants, we hope to the topic gets everyone “juiced” about developing their own BSC and executing their strategy.
More information about the ASP Annual Conference is available at http://www.strategyplus.org/conference.shtml.
