ClearPoint Strategy Winter '10 Release
On January 15th we will be releasing the newest features of ClearPoint Strategy, the performance management software. We are calling this release Winter '10 (since it is 2010 and winter time). You can learn about the new features in detail at the ClearPoint website. I thought I would highlight a few of them in this post.
Strategy Maps: Hard to believe it but the earlier release of CPS did not have strategy maps. This one will, and you can upload any image you want and have objective, measure, and initiative dynamic color status icons on the page. The map prints of course and integrates with the briefing book functionality.
Exporting: You can not export any table in the application to Excel as well as PDF. With the Excel export, it means that you can create a custom table with any pieces of data in the tool (text and numbers) and then export them to Excel with the click of a button. We have also enhanced the page layout capability to allow for more flexibility in the application.
Enhanced Alignment: You can now show how all of your department objectives and measures align to your enterprise scorecard. In the past, you could show this alignment on a single objective. We've created an exportable table to show the alignment across the entire organization. You can also link Action Items to other data elements like objectives, measures, initiatives or other action items.
Advanced Features: We have added many more advanced features, including new user groups, automatic measure and initiative evaluation, and much more. To keep the tool simple to use, we've created the ability to turn on and off these features based on your need and management style.
Come check it out, I think you will really like the new features.
